Lakeside Academy is a public secondary school in the Montreal, Quebec, Canada borough of Lachine. It is part of the Lester B. Pearson School Board. The school was created in 2001 when two previous high schools, Lachine High School and Bishop Whelan High School, were amalgamated.[1]
Lakeside offers the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program to its top students.[2] Although not all students at the school are technically in the IB program, as of 2010 they have used the IB teaching principles to guide all of their classes.[3]
